SUPERNATURAL PERFECTION
TEXT: ISAIAH 40:1-5; PSALM 138:7-8; 1 Peter 5:6-10; Psalm 40:1-5.

INTRODUCTION
God is interested in your life and everything that pertains to you. He has seen your many years of travails and struggles. He is set to turn things around for you. It is time for Him to change your story. He is set to perfect everything that concerns you and put a new song in your mouth in Jesus name. Psalm 40:1-3.
AREAS OF SUPERNATURAL PERFECTION

  1. Your spiritual life
  2. Your marriage
  3. Your health
  4. Your business, job or career
  5. Your mind, emotion etc.
  6. Your finances
  7. Every other area of your life.
    WHAT IS SUPERNATURAL PERFECTION?
    When we talk of supernatural perfection, it indicates that there can also be natural perfection.
    Natural means: Having to do with existing system of things; dealing with, or derived from, the creation, or the world of matter and mind, as known by man; within the scope of human reason or experience.
    Supernatural means: not existing in nature or subject to explanation according to natural laws; not physical or material (ex.: supernatural forces and occurrences and beings). Supernatural also means: Being beyond, or exceeding, the power or laws of nature; miraculous.
    Perfection is The quality or state of being perfect or complete, so that nothing requisite is wanting; entire development; consummate culture, skill, or moral excellence; the highest attainable state or degree of excellence; maturity; state of flawlessness.
    The word ‘Perfect’ means having everything that is necessary; complete and without faults or weaknesses; completely correct, exact and accurate. It also means the best of its kind, excellent, and very good.
    Supernatural perfection therefore means the complete state of flawlessness that is divinely orchestrated. It is a state of finishing and completion that has the full backing of heaven.
    REASONS WHY YOU MUST EXPERIENCE PERFECTION
  8. God is perfect and He is your Father. Deut. 32:3-4.
  9. God’s ways are perfect and there is no crookedness in them. II Sam. 22:31; Psalm 18:30.
  10. God also specializes in making imperfection to be perfect. Psalm 18:32; I Peter 5:10; Heb.13:20-21.
  11. God’s eyes run to and fro to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart are perfect before Him. 2 Chron. 16:9.
  12. Jesus Christ who is the Captain of our salvation is perfect. Heb.2:9-10, 5:5-10.
  13. The Holy Spirit is also the Spirit of excellence / perfection. Dan. 5:12, 6:3.
  14. The word of God (the law of God) is perfect and has the ability of perfecting the lives of everyone that embrace it. Psalm 19:7; James 1:25.
  15. God is perfect in knowledge. Job 36:4, 37:16.
  16. God gives perfect gifts to His children liberally without upbraiding (reproaching or scolding). James 1:17.
  17. God and our Lord Jesus also commanded us to go all out for perfection because it is possible and attainable. Gen.17:1; Matt.5:48; II Cor.13:11.
  18. God is committed to keeping him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Him. Isa. 26:3.
  19. God has given His ministers to the body of Christ for perfection to be the experience of the saints. Eph.4:11-14.
  20. God is also committed to perfecting that which concerns His people. Psalm 138:8.
  21. Perfection is not a one time experience. It is a continuous experience and exercise. Eph. 4:12-13.
  22. Zion which is a replica of the church of God is described as the perfection of beauty where God shines from. Psalm 50:2.
  23. As believers, we are also expected to bring forth the fruits to perfection. Luke 8:14-15.
  24. Perfection is God’s wish for every sincere and truthful believer. 2 Cor. 13:7-9.
  25. Perfection is also a state of maturity every believer is expected to attain to. We are not supposed to be children tossed to and fro concerning the things of the spirit. Eph. 4:11-13; Heb. 6:1.
  26. Perfection is required for us as believers in order to do God’s winin a way that is pleasing and acceptable to Him. Heb. 13:20-21.
  27. Above all, Jesus is coming again for a perfect church. A church that is blameless, without spot and wrinkles. 1 Cor. 1:8; Eph. 5:26-27; 2 Pet. 3:11-14.

KEYS FOR EXPERIENCING SUPERNATURAL PERFECTION

  1. DIVINE ACQUAINTANCE: Divine acquaintance simply means having a personal relationship with divinity. It means you coming to God in absolute surrender and accepting the Lordship of Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Saviour. When you are born again, you belong to the family of God. Job 22:21; John 1:12.
  2. WALKING BEFORE GOD: If you want to experience supernatural perfection, you must be ready to walk before God as Abraham was strictly instructed. Gen. 17:1-2.
  3. EMBRACING THE PERFECT WORD OF GOD: For you to experience supernatural perfection, you must be an addicted student of the word of God. Let the word of God dwell richly inside you richly. Study the word, meditate on it continually and do its instructions. It is through this efforts that the word will now be fine tuning your life unto a perfect status. Psalm 19:7-11.
  4. OBEDIENCE: It is not enough to study the scriptures, you must be willing and obedient to do what the word says if your perfection must be seen. Isa. 1:19; James 1:21-25.
  5. RENEWED MINDSET: In order to experience supernatural perfection, you must be ready to purge your mind of every old mindset and renew your mindset in line with the word of God. Rom. 12:1-2.
  6. MAKING GOD AND HIS KINGDOM A PRIORITY: When God and His Kingdom matters become your number one focus and priority, He will ensure that you are His number one on His list of priorities too. God will ensure that He will perfect all that pertains to you. Gen. 17:1; Matt. 6:33.
  7. FERVENT PRAYERS: Prayer is a great weapon in our hands as believers. When some areas of our lives are not in line with God’s plans and purposes, we can call unto Him in the place of prayers and He will come and perfect every imperfection. Psa. 2:8; Jere. 33:3.
  8. ENGAGING IN KINGDOM SERVICE: Service endears believers to the heart of God. The scripture says that His eyes run to and fro throughout the whole earth to prove Himself strong on behalf people who are serving Him and whose heart before Him. Also, God is committed to believers who are serving Him. He promised to distinguish them from others. 2 Chro. 16:9; Mal. 3:17-18.
  9. PATIENCE: Supernatural perfection also requires patience. It is not a quick fix or microwave kind of experience. You must be to walk with God patiently as He takes you through the furnace and crucible of perfection. Psa. 66:10-12; Heb. 2:9-10; 1 Pet. 5:10; James 1:2-4.
  10. LIBERALITY AND SACRIFICIAL GIVING: Giving is a great catalyst for experiencing a timeless and durable perfection in your finances. Your giving today is a seed waiting for you in the future. If you want God to supernaturally perfect all that concerns you, be an addicted and incurable kingdom investor. When you give, God will ensure that you don’t experience lack or poverty all the days of your life. Matt. 19:16-22.
